Idag blev Fromax "Narnia"-kull 1 år gamla. Grattis till er alla fem: Fromax Aslan, Fromax Caspian, Fromax Lucy, Fromax Aravis och Fromax Jadis!

Today Fromax "Narnia" litter became 1 year old. Congrats to all five of you: Fromax Aslan, Fromax Caspian, Fromax Lucy, Fromax Aravis and Fromax Jadis!

Kombinationen mellan Mija och Stefans SE UCH, NordJV-07 Smygens Aindy "Morris" och vår Verdidas Holly har visats sig bli väldigt lyckad, precis som vi hoppats på   . Alla ha en - precis - som sina föräldrar - underbar mentalitet, de är glada, positiva, framåt och lättlärda, dessutom har de utvecklats mycket bra när det gäller konstruktion.

 The combination between Mija's and Stefan´s SWE CH, NordJW-07, Smygens Aindy "Morris" and our Verdidas Holly has proven to be very successfull, just as we hoped   . All of the "puppies" have - just as their parents - a wonderful mentality. They are happy, positive, outgoing and have learned new things easily. Moreover they have developed great in terms of construction!

Fromax Aslan "Rufus":

Fromax Aslan  "Rufus" lives in Helsinki, Finland with Heli and Niina. He is all that! A lion-king or should it be a Cardigan-king :-)

He is enjoying his life in Finland to the fullest and we are so happy that he ended up with Heli and Niina   . Aslan is a real cityboy now and from what we have heard people are talking about him all around, so he is a popular Cardigan over there.

Fromax Caspian:

Fromax Caspian was, from the beginning, the leader of the pack in the litter. We were fortunate to find him a loving and caring home with Camilla in the southern part of Sweden. She wanted a dog with a lot of energy, will and power, since she is an obedience instructor and  wants to compete on a high level with her dog. We believe that they fit each other perfectly  .

Fromax Aravis "Helmi":

Fromax Aravis "Helmi" went to live with Tarja in Finland. Tarja, Handskes Kennel, is a breeder of Welsh Corgi Cardigan and Swedish Vallhounds (Västgötaspets) and we are so happy that Aravis came to live with Tarja   . Aravis has developed into a wonderful young Cardigan girl and we hope that she will have great offsprings at Handskes Kennel in the future. She has proven to be a wonderful "puppysitter" already, since Tarja recently had three litters at home.

Fromax Lucy:

Fromax Lucy is the one we decided to keep in our breeding program. She lives with our Co-owner Elin, just outside of Stockholm   . Lucy is truly Holly's daughter in all ways, just as funny as her mother and talkative. She is everything to Elin and Andy and she loves them to bits and they her... We are so happy that she is so well taken care of and that she is easygoing, outgoing and loving to all around her. She has developed as we hoped for, and we are looking forward to see what she can give, when it comes to offspring here at Fromax Kennel.

Fromax Jadis:

Fromax Jadis went to live in Denmark with Bjarne, Susanne and their two children. She is adored by the family and the kids makes her gifts, when they are at school, and they play with her all the time   . Jadis is a loving Cardigan girl, with a great life over in Denmark, we are so happy for her.

Idag flyttade vi in Tinas valplåda i mitt sovrum. Tina är så nöjd - och hon visar förstås gärna sin växande mage:

Today we moved Tina's whelping box into my bedroom. Tina is so content - and of course she willingly shows her growing belly:

Nu är det bara ungefär två veckor kvar tills Tina ska valpa - hon är på dygn 47. Och det finns knappt plats för mat i hennes mage längre... 

Now it is only about two weeks left until Tina's puppies will arrive - it is day 47. And there is almost no room for food in her belly any longer...

Igår och i förrgår fick vi kärt besök av min sonson Charlie (nyligen fyllda ett år) och hans föräldrar. Charlie bekantade sig med "vovvarna" i vår kennel - mest med vår dräktiga tik "Tina". Tina tyckte att Charlie var en jättegullig "valp": 

Yesterday and the day before my grandson Charlie (one year old) and his parents visited us. Charlie met the doggies in our kennel - especially our pregnant brood "Tina". Tina thought that Charlie was a lovely "puppy":  

  
Tina ville gärna tvätta Charlies ansikte, men framför allt så ville hon smaka Charlies goda kex: 
  

Tina wanted to wash Charlie's face, but above all she wanted a taste of Charlie's good biscuits:

Strax före jul besökte faster Petra Marteus och Tinas son Bilbo Charlie med familj. Då togs de här bilderna på Charlie och Bilbo (och Charlies pappa Per):

Nu är det ungefär tre veckor kvar tills Tinas valpar ska födas - runt den 20 januari. Och Tinas mage växer... Hon är så stolt när hon visar upp den - och det gör hon flera gånger om dagen.

  
In about three weeks Tina's puppies will be born - around January 20th. And Tina's belly is growing... She is so proud when she shows us her belly - and she does so quite a few times every day.

Tinas pappa Frodo, den blivande morfadern, är också stolt och glad, men gladast är Tina. Det lyser om henne:

Tinas bästa kompis Holly verkar tycka att Tina får lite väl mycket uppmärksamhet:

Och hur många valpar är det? har vi frågat Tina. Men hon är hemlighetsfull och svarar inte. Holly, däremot, "påstår" att det blir 7 valpar. Vi får väl se snart...
